Newquay Hornets Rugby Football Club vs Sparta Prague

This tournament featured the Newquay Hornets Rugby Football Club. These boys wanted a weekend not to forget and so they came early to experience all that We at Prague Rugby Tours can offer! On the first day the 37 lads enjoyed a full steak meal in a restaurant along side the famous Charles Bridge.

The next day they tried their aim at the Prague shooting range. Some boys didn’t do as well as others with the 9mm Glock hand pistol, maybe because they drank too much the night before in the Old Town. And please, next time don’t drop the PUMP ACTION SHOT GUN or the Czech Ex-Military instructor will Kick you!

On Saturday the boys were ready for rugby action after spending two days on beer. They could finally concentrate on some fine ball playing. They overcame the home team Sparta with a 32-29 victory. As always, following the game we all enjoyed food and drink in the clubhouse where many traditions were carried out.

Here is the letter the organizer of the Newquay Hornets sent to us after the weekend:

Hi all,

Just a quick note to say a big thank you to all of you. Everything you organised was great and timings were prefect. You made my job so much easier. Everyone had a great time and those of us who have been regular tourist have no doubt it is the best tour we have ever had, beating Dublin and Amsterdam. It was most certainly the best organised tour with everything going so smoothly.
Naturally, I will be happy to recommend you to other Clubs/pissheads and may use your services again ourselves. If you do spread your wings to different locations we would be very interested.
