In the Czech Republic the most popular sports played are Ice Hockey and Football. The IIHF World Championship is coming to the Czech Republic April 24 – May 9 2004. The preliminary round will feature France vs. Austria, Russian vs. Japan, Finland vs. USA, Sweden vs. Denmark and Germany vs. Czech Republic.
